Depends.
If he lost weight and fist-pumped also… people would probably like him less.
BUT:
If it was the result of a horrible disease that he couldn’t control… people would probably be sympathetic and like him more.
Ultimately, yes. People would change their opinion. The American public does not like change. The man has been yellow for 20+ years. Orange would blow their mind.
