Why is the Simpsons so much fun to watch over ...

Simpsons FAQ | 17.10.2010 3:00 | 2 Comments

I mean, it’s been on for years and years, and they have repeats on EVERY single day, and I’ve seen nearly every episode probably 20 or 30 times (at least the older ones)… why is it so enjoyable to watch the same episode even though I know exactly what is going to happen?

My first guess is that it’s such a smart comedy, the jokes make me laugh every time. Do you think there is anything else about it that makes it so great?

I love watching them too. I think its a comfort thing also. You know whats going to happen, and that comforts you in a small strange way.

I think it’s because one episode is just so packed with so many different conflicts unlike other shows where there’s always only two conflicts. It’s so ironic this question was up because I’m watching Simpson’s right now! ^^
