Whenever you see a meeting of the Republicans taking place on The Simpsons, there’s Krusty the Clown, Mr. Burns and a few other characters…but then there’s Dracula..How is Dracula seen as a Republican? Is there something about being up at night and sucking blood that connotes conservativism?

Your questions has two parts. The first part of Dracula being protrayed as a Republican has more to do with the thought of a Republican being more concerned about wealth, power and the rich over the benefit of the individual and individual rights. Watch what they are meeting over. Usually it is over some issue that would benefit rich parties at the expense of the little person. I.E., Bloodsuckers….

The second part about conservatism. That could be a different issue all together, depending on what you have in mind.

The creator is a NRA member, i.e, (maggie being scanned at the register says NRA 4 Life). But, Lisa tends to be more Democratic in thought.

Conservative values and Liberal Values, it all depends on what you feel like on a particular issue. Learn to think for yourself and don’t let someone else do the thinking for you and classify yourself by either party.

Be and individual.

I have long since ceased to take seriously any political view put forward by entertainment television or the movie industry. Most of these people are somewhere below clueless on such issues.

And, I have never been a fan of the Simpsons. I have watched one or two episodes when there was no way to get out of it–that isn’t enough to judge any part of what they do or try to do.
