I haven’t seen this intro in like 10 years (they played a season 1 episode in celebration for 15 years of Simpsons I think) I can see that some of the animations are reused and re-coloured

Is it just me, or was the animation more fluid in these old episodes?

Seems a shame they removed Lisa on her bike. And the bus stop gag sums up Bart perfectly.

This is my favorite opening. Mainly because it shows how lisa got home.

If you pause it at 0:57 you can easily see that Marge is driving.

The original Season 1 & early Season 2 theme ie. this is way better than the current 2nd theme used for 20 years. Why did they change it to begin with?

Why don’t they keep using the original title? It is way better than the ones now. All they have to do is make the picture better!

So cool! To think this thing was made in 1989… it’s older than me!! D:
5 year-olds who watched this in 1990 would have never EVER thought that one day theyd be married with children and Simpsons would still be airing… of course they’re not as good as the original, but hey! they managed to keep being renewed and renewed year after year

@Girrocksmysocks2008 Well most of them may not e married with children yet, but some may. I know plenty of people married wih children at age 25.
