I know what I am saying is vague, but, there was a Simpsons episode (one from an early season I think and a hallowean special too) where Kang and Kudos open up a portal to the Earth. Then a load of aliens start marching through it wearing different coloured clothing and costumes. Then it shows all the the army tanks marching towards the aliens and then something else happens…
My point is, what is the name of the composition, I think it was classical, that plays in the background.

So she is by his bedside and she sings this beautiful song on her sax. I’ve heard the song also on this commercial on TV selling CDs of soft rock. I want to listen to it again and download it.

while in krusty burger with bart, homer sees spider pig and a thought bubble occers with homer spinning while holding the pig and the song plays. the song was also used in a twix commercial a little while ago.

It is at the part where homer throws her ashes off the top of that mountain, and they go into that machine. The words aren’t that clear, so i couldn’t really make them out, but it was a woman singing if that helps.

The episode is called Jazzy and the Pussycats. It’s the one where Bart learns to play drums and Lisa saves animals that are gonna be put down.

The one where they are at the rock-and-roll camp; they are sitting around the fire during the lyric writing camp. I don’t think its a real song, but it starts off with:
See that drunk girl speedin’ down the street?

Thanks to those that answered so far… it wasn’t a flashback, and it wasn’t from when he was a kid. Thats what made it so funny… a full grown homer screeching like a girl trying to sing this song!

In one of the Simpsons Christmas Episodes, “I Saw Grampa Cussing Santa Claus,” Grandpa Abe and Mr. Burns shoot down Santa’s sleigh while on a deserted island. In the episode ‘The old man and the Key’, it was played maybe halfway through it. It was kinda like a happy song, and sounded a bit like The Entertainer.
