need exact bart simpson quote: X poets Y days ...

Simpsons FAQ | 3.03.2011 3:00 | 2 Comments

In a forged love-letter to Mrs Krabappel (sp?), Bart writes a line from a late-night movie: “It would take X poets Y days to describe one Z’th of your beauty”.

What are X,Y,Z? (And is it ‘days’, or ‘nights’ or ‘weeks’?)

TIA.
Yeah, that’s the episode I was thinking of. For one of his earlier notes he watches old romance movies, which is where he cribs the X-Y-Z line from, if I recall correctly. (‘Course, I might be totally crosswiring from another episode.)

the episode you’re talking about, at least the one i think you mean is “Bart the Lover” when Bart gets back at Mrs. Krabappel (yup, you spelled it right) by pranking her and writing love letters to her under the name “Woodrow”

but i dont think that line is said throught the whole episode, all i can think of is the last line of Bart’s final love letter saying goodbye to her (which the whole family helped on, and Homer added this phrase):

“But one thing I can tell you, any time I hear the wind
blow it will whisper the name… Edna. And so let us part with a love that will echo through the ages” —–Woodrow
