Peter Griffin.

And they aren’t all that different, though Peter is motivated more by his fondness for fun and irresponsibility. Homer is motivated mostly by hunger and a lack of thinking. Homer doesn’t intend to do anything stupid, it just happens because he’s accident prone.

Peter quite often realizes what he is doing is stupid, but it looks like so much fun that he can’t resist.

But both love their families, would do anything for them. And when Peter winds up hurting Lois or Homer winds up hurting Marge, when both realize it they are more than ready to apologize and do what they can to make up for it.
