How Long Would A Script Be For An Average “the Simpsons” Episode?

Simpsons FAQ | 24.02.2010 23:18 | 2 Comments

I have decided that I want to make my own “The Simpsons” episode, and was wondering how many pages an average script would be for an episode of 20-25 minutes. I have a few ideas which I think are good, and mimic the humour of “The Simpsons”.
I would like to make my own online cartoon series, however I want to test my creativity and the audiences response while using characters who are already established, and as a one-off episode, I will not have to introduce these characters.
Thanks to everyone who answers.

If you use the proper screenwriting format, it’ll be 20-25 pages. On average, every page of a script is around one minute film time.
