If the Simpsons brand actually employs cheap Asian labour, why joke about it?
They’re just raising awareness of their own short comings.

I liked it better when Banksy was this mysterious person though. Now I’ll have to shift my urban (illegal) artist affections to reverse grafitti (made by removing grime instead of adding spray paint).

Because it’s unnecessary to joke about slave labour, and animal exploitation. That’s why its controversial. Sure we can all laugh and joke about how funny the opening sequence is, but in reality, thats how these people and animals are treated, and ofcourse us ignorant Westerners can give 2 shits about other people and animals in different countries, because as long as the pain isn’t happening to us, then we can live our ignorant over consuming lives.
